This is a conversion of a pair of shophouses located in a small street in the UNESCO-listed Georgetown, Penang. Lemme Learn is programmed as a training facility for autistic young adults, to enable them to sucessfully contribute within the society. Proposed are facilities such as flexible classrooms, a herb gardens and quiet reading spaces that also double as social spaces for the students. An interesting aspect of the project is the intertwining programme of an actual kitchen (run by an affiliate F&B vendor) and a trainee kitchen for the students. This facility is hoped to equip those within the autistism spectrum with the nesscesary skills to be able to go out in the real world and be healty, functioning members of the society.
